Chapman’s Reflexes

Frank Chapman, DO, practiced in the 1920’s and 30’s.  He discovered that there were places on the skin (we now know that they are located in the superficial fascia) that seemed to relate to the organs inside the body.  He developed a method for diagnosing and treating these reflexes to affect the underlying organs and help patients heal.  There are four steps to treating with Chapman’s reflexes, an anterior and posterior treatment after the pelvis is balanced and sympathetic activation exercises at the end to balance the autonomic nervous system and integrate the body.  Chapman’s Reflexes can be used to treat everything from adrenal fatigue to thyroid issues to anxiety.  Each of the points that Dr. Chapman discovered will be explored, their diagnostic significance will be explained along with his methods of treatment, plus a few more that have been added by other practitioners over the years.  Bennet’s and Riddler’s reflexes which allow the diagnosis of nutritional deficiencies will also be covered.
