Based on the more traditional methods of William Garner Sutherland, this course focuses on how to diagnose and treat the membranous structures of the cranium. Cranial nerves, detailed cranial anatomy and Sutherland’s major strain patterns will be discussed and explored. How to palpate the differing layers of the membranes will be explored as well as how to locate the cause of the strain within that layer. How those strain patterns effect the rest of the body and how to correct them will also be analyzed. This course can be organized around a 20-hour or 40-hour curriculum.
